Welcome to Casa de Los Sueños, a residence that strikes the perfect balance between cohesive design, unhindered scale, and tranquil serenity. Perfectly situated within Alessandro Heights, a neighborhood long known for its estate residences bordering natural arroyos and occupying gorgeous hilltop locations, this property offers complete solitude and privacy behind its protective gates.
Along the approach to the home, the hillsides are covered in colorful, drought-tolerant landscaping; the vibrant purple spikes of the Pride of Madeira give way to the brilliant reds of Bougainvillea as spring turns to summer.
The interior of the home has been completely transformed with a calming, contemporary Mediterranean design scheme. Only the highest quality materials were used, and the top artisans in the region were called upon to add character and personality to each living space. No stone was left unturned, and each beautifully curated room naturally flows into the next.
Designed to follow the natural rhythm of the day, the home’s north-facing kitchen and breakfast spaces offer a calming, sunlit setting for your morning coffee. As the day ends, the focus shifts to the lower west wing, where the living room transforms into a twilight sanctuary. The breeze consistently sweeps in from the west, flowing seamlessly through the room via four sets of French doors. With a glass of wine by the piano, you can appreciate how the sunset palette changes with the calendar. Winter brings crisp skies of violet and rose, whereas summer evenings settle into rich tones of orange, peach, or red. Though the colors shift from month to month, the view stretching from Mt. Baldy to the Cleveland National Forest is always a Southern California dream.
Spanning nearly 11,000 square feet, this estate stands as a true architectural masterpiece, offering a lifestyle that is unmatched within the prestigious, gated community of Royal Hunt Ridge. Beyond the principal living rooms, the property transforms into a private resort destination, fully equipped with a state-of-the-art home theater, a sparkling pool and spa, a tennis court, a volleyball court, 4 car garage and an expansive motor court with abundant guest parking. Completely turnkey and masterfully refined, Casa de Los Sueños is more than just a home, it is a rare sanctuary designed for a life without compromise.
Alessandro Heights
The name Alessandro was given to a town site platted in 1887 near what is now the March Air Reserve Base/March Inland Port. The name was taken from Helen Hunt Jackson’s book “Ramona,” and was the name of the heroine’s husband.
The Alessandro Heights neighborhood is in the southernmost part of the original 39.4 square miles incorporated as the City of Riverside, and was expanded by annexations in 2001 and 2007. The neighborhood is bordered by the Hawarden Hills and Canyon Crest neighborhoods to the north, Washington Street and the Arlington Heights neighborhood to the west, the community of Woodcrest in the County to the south and the Mission Grove neighborhood to the east.
The area remained largely undeveloped, until much of residential development that exists today began to occur in the 80’s. Alessandro Heights is strictly a low density, large lot single-family residential neighborhood developed primarily with estate homes within a hilly area that offers many homeowners spectacular views of the surrounding area. The neighborhood offers a secluded setting within the rolling hills that gives it its quiet and peaceful charm.
Access to the neighborhood is limited, and mainly comes from Washington Street to the west. From Washington Street, Overlook Parkway, which is designated as a “Scenic Boulevard” in the General Plan 2025, is a street with a generous and well landscaped median providing an attractive tree lined corridor into the neighborhood. Overlook Parkway winds its way up into the hills eventually reaching some of the most luxurious homes in the City. According to the 2000 Census, the largest homes, highest property values, and highest income levels are all found in Alessandro Heights.
The neighborhood is enriched with three major natural arroyos; Alessandro, Prenda, and Woodcrest. Arroyos are not just conduits for water, but rich and varied areas of animal and plant life. Because the arroyos are very important and valuable natural features, residential development has occurred in a manner designed to protect and preserve the arroyos and natural features of the neighborhood. In addition to the arroyos, the undeveloped east side of this small community boasts rugged topography and natural plateaus. The terrain, combined with the estate residential development, make this neighborhood one of the more distinguished areas in the City of Riverside.
City of Riverside
The heart of the Inland Empire, Riverside offers an extraordinary blend of historic charm, forward-thinking economic growth, and an exceptional Southern California lifestyle that presents a compelling alternative to coastal congestion. Founded in the 1870s, Riverside became the prosperous birthplace of the California citrus industry, a heritage still visible today in its lush greenbelts, historic landmark homes as well as stunning civic architecture and of course the world-renowned Mission Inn Hotel. Today, it is a dynamic, growing city of roughly 320,000 residents, characterized by a diverse, highly educated demographic fueled by UC Riverside, Cal Baptist University, La Sierra University and Riverside Community College. This deep talent pool has catalyzed massive economic development, transforming the city into a thriving hub for technology, healthcare, logistical innovation, and green enterprise, all supported by a business-friendly infrastructure that attracts professionals and families from across the nation.
For out-of-area buyers seeking the quintessential Southern California experience without sacrificing space or tranquility, Riverside’s deliberate urban planning stands out. Recent City Council decisions have heavily emphasized smart growth, downtown revitalization, and transit-oriented development, while simultaneously enforcing strict voter-approved conservation initiatives like Proposition R and Measure C. These unique local mandates permanently protect the city’s spectacular natural topography including its craggy granite hillsides and deep arroyos from the dense suburban sprawl seen elsewhere in the region.
Crucially for relocators, Riverside serves as the ultimate geographical anchor for Southern California exploration. It is uniquely and centrally located, putting world-class Pacific beaches, wild snow-capped mountain ranges, and globally unique desert landscapes all within about an hour’s drive. Riverside residents also enjoy easy access to three distinct metropolitan powerhouse regions, each offering its own world of activities: the cultural landmarks, entertainment industry, and culinary scenes of Los Angeles; the pristine coastal luxury, shopping, and theme parks of Orange County; and the relaxed, sun-drenched coastal vibes and historic districts of San Diego.
Nowhere is this harmonious balance between regional connectivity, premium luxury, and preserved nature more evident than in Alessandro Heights. For a discerning buyer relocating from out of state, Alessandro Heights represents the pinnacle of Riverside real estate, where grand custom estate homes are seamlessly carved into rolling hills and rugged ridgelines. Positioned between the Alessandro and Prenda Arroyos, this exclusive enclave offers panoramic, high-altitude views of the region and unmatched natural privacy. Because the surrounding canyons and native coastal sage scrub are contractually protected as vital wildlife corridors, residents enjoy a serene, estate-shielded lifestyle that feels entirely removed from the world, yet sits just minutes from a booming metropolitan center and the very best that Southern California has to offer.
